New Amazon Feature Hits U.S. Prime Members
Amazon is rolling out a new 'Add to today’s delivery' button for U.S. Prime members. The feature allows eligible items to be added to an already scheduled order—without extra shipping fees. The update is available in the Amazon Shopping app and on Amazon.com (mobile), distinguished by a bright blue button below the familiar "Add to cart" option (About Amazon), (TechCrunch).
How It Works
Tapping the button adds the item instantly to an upcoming delivery.
There is a brief "Undo" period for removing the item if you change your mind.
Only eligible products, logistically possible for quick delivery, will show the feature.
No added shipping costs for last-minute additions.
