Ronson and Pulse Form Strategic Partnership
Pulse Music Group has announced a major music publishing joint venture with producer Mark Ronson. The new venture brings together Pulse and Ronson's own publishing company, Zelig Music.
The collaboration is designed to discover and develop emerging songwriters and producers.
A Reunion of Veterans
Pulse Music Group co-CEO Josh Abraham noted a long-standing relationship with Ronson, dating back to the New York club scene of the early 1990s.
Abraham praised Ronson's ability to "cultivate culture-defining moments for songwriters, producers, and artists." He highlighted Ronson's integrity and creativity in building careers.
Ronson shared his enthusiasm for the new venture. "I'm so in admiration of what Pulse has built," Ronson stated. "I'm so excited to discover and develop some incredible talent together."

Inaugural Signing: Becky and the Birds
The joint venture's first signing is Swedish artist-producer Thea Gustafsson, known professionally as Becky and the Birds. This marks a worldwide publishing deal for the rising talent.

Gustafsson is already an acclaimed figure in her native Sweden. She received nominations in four categories at the Swedish Grammis Awards, securing the prestigious Producer of the Year award.
Her musical project, Becky and the Birds, is described as an "off-kilter, theatrical, often danceable fusion of indie electronic soul."
Recent Work
Her discography includes her 2018 debut album and the 2024 release "Only Music Makes Me Cry Now." Her latest single, "Should've known better (choices)," was released earlier in 2025.
