Mariam Naficy, the entrepreneur behind Eve.com and Minted, has unveiled her latest venture: Arcade AI. The new platform allows anyone to design and manufacture physical goods, starting with jewelry and rugs, using only text descriptions or uploaded images.
Arcade AI has launched with $17 million in funding from prominent investors, including Ashton Kutcher’s Sound Ventures and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman. The company aims to merge generative AI with real-world commerce, creating what Naficy calls the “first AI marketplace.”
From Dream to Design
Users, referred to as “Dreamers,” can input a simple prompt, such as “silver necklace with a mountain pendant,” and the platform’s AI model generates custom product designs. This process eliminates the need for technical design skills, opening product creation to a broader audience.
The platform is built to be tool-agnostic, allowing creators to import designs from other generative AI platforms like MidJourney, further expanding its creative ecosystem.
