Digital music company Believe has decisively entered the music publishing sector with the acquisition of Sentric Music Group. The deal, valued at €47 million, was announced on March 30, 2023, marking a significant expansion of services for the parent company of distributor TuneCore.
Sentric, a UK-based independent music publishing platform, was previously held by Utopia since February 2022. The acquisition transfers Sentric's extensive technology and infrastructure to Believe, establishing the foundation for a new global publishing business line.

Strengthening the TuneCore Partnership
TuneCore has partnered with Sentric for publishing administration since 2018. This acquisition deepens that relationship, as 23% of TuneCore's subscribers already utilize Sentric's services. The integration aims to create a seamless, one-stop solution for artists to manage both their recordings and their compositions.
